What Are the Three Core Values of Tele-Data Solutions?

At Tele-Data Solutions, we’re a team of just fifteen souls, and as any business knows, there are advantages and disadvantages to being that small. In terms of advantages, we’re fast, nimble, and able to respond quickly to customers. There’s no red tape or bureaucracy we need to battle in order to service a client. It’s also very easy for partners and clients to get access to us. At Tele-Data Solutions, there’s no ivory tower.

We have a team of 15 strong and we’re currently growing.  Being on the “smaller” side we find as a great advantage to rapidly respond to clients and IT partners while being extremely focused and able to pivot quickly.  Our company started in 1983, and in 2013, there was a change in ownership. At that time, we realized we had unspoken core values but not strategic ones. To keep growing and evolving as a business, we deliberately developed the following values:

 1. Service the Customer above All Else

It might sound cliché. After all, doesn’t everyone claim to offer the best service? At Tele-Data Solutions, though, this value is about honesty, transparency, and vulnerability. If there’s an issue, we’re going to tell the client about it, and then we’re going to solve the problem. We’re not going to hide behind technical jargon. We’ll be honest, upfront, and transparent.

2. Relationships Matter

When we talk about relationships mattering, we’re talking about building long-term connections. We’re not in this to get short-term profitable gains. We’re always thinking five, ten, or even twenty years down the line, and we’re never going to compromise on quality or service just to get an extra dollar today.

 3. Humble and Hungry

We believe humility is important because its an important characteristic to be in the service others.  With humility comes wisdom.  We also wanted to add the “hungry” because if we are going to grow as people in our personal and professional lives, you need desire.  For us, it gets us through the obstacles of a challenging and competitive industry. Whether it’s managing an upset client or navigating a technical issue, we need that hunger to keep pushing forward and to keep improving.
